I mostly use Konqueror browser (unsure if that matters), and a good few websites are challenging to comprehend due to a problematic selection of colours employed ithe design. In your case, as the choice of colors is sensible, the site is quite clear and comfortable to read. I am not certain whether this was a premeditated and conscious act, or simply a fortunate event, but thanks anyway. Good points raised here.
